We visited a couple of second grade classrooms in our area to teach the students there about the importance of pollinators, about how the pollinators aren't doing so well, and about how everybody can contribute to help them! Our visits included a short lesson on bees, and two creative activities in which students got the chance to make flowers out of tissue paper and their own seed bombs (clay filled with tons of native plant seeds). Some of our visits even included a game of "Capture the Pollen".
